Summary:

The Army suits Tucker; he does well right from the beginning. Things get harder for Tucker during boot camp when he is assigned a “Battle Buddy”. Owen Bradford is a walking, talking wet dream, with no concept of personal space–he especially likes being in Tucker’s personal space. Tucker barely survives boot camp living with the constant temptation that is Owen Bradford.

Two years later, Tucker–now in the Army Ranger program–is paired up with Owen once again. Getting through training while ignoring the sizzling sexual tension between him and his “Battle Buddy” might be the biggest test of Tucker’s military career.

The Review:

Battle Buddy is a richly drawn and authentic portrayal of Army training. S.J.D. Peterson brings Shane Tucker and Owen Bradford vividly to life as they are constantly thrown together during their Army training.

Battle Buddy is an entertaining story written in first person from Shane Tucker’s point of view. Shane and Owen are well-developed vibrant characters that are wonderfully realistic and immensely appealing. Shane’s self-deprecating humor and easy going personality fully engages the reader in this past paced story. Ms. Peterson keeps the sexual tension high as Shane fights his attraction to Owen.

If you are a fan of m/m romances with super hot, testosterone laden protagonists, you will enjoy Battle Buddy. It is guaranteed to set your e-reader on fire when passion explodes between Shane and Owen.

I am eagerly awaiting the next installment of S.J.D. Peterson’s Rough Rangers series.
