Friday Feature & Interview: Caught by Cassandra Carr

It is my extreme pleasure to welcome Cassandra Carr to Book Reviews & More by Kathy. Ms. Carr is currently on tour for the re-release of Caught and she took the time to answer a few questions for us today.

Kathy: What book do you recommend everyone should read? Do you have a comfort read?

Pride and Prejudice. Say what you will about my choice being cliche, but the book is a classic for a reason. As far as comfort reads, I don’t have one particular book that I go back to again and again. Frankly, with 200+ books unread on my Kindle I don’t have time to re-read stuff.

Kathy: What is your guilty pleasure?

Guilty pleasure? Hmmmm. That’s a tough one. I’m going to say eating ice cream since I don’t let my daughter eat it very often. I’m so boring. 😉

Kathy: Favorite meal?

Really good, thin crust NY style cheese pizza. Give me that and a Pepsi and you have one happy author.

Kathy: If you weren’t a writer, what would you be?

In marketing and PR, which is what I did before I became a full-time writer. I really liked it, but the job market for that kind of thing in the Western New York area is tight to say the least.

Kathy: If you could time travel, what time period would you visit?

The Regency period, but I’d want to be one of the aristocrats, not a scullery maid or a serving wench. I want life (a little) easier.

Kathy: I can TOTALLY relate to having a TBR so large that a re-read is not really an option. And I also with on being stepping into the shoes of an aristocrat vs. a servant!! Thank you again for chatting with us today and hopefully you’ll drop by again in the future.

NOTE: This story was previously released by another publisher.

When Callie returns to her hometown for the holidays she comes face to face with her old lover and Dominant, Jack. She left him three years ago believing he could never be the happily-ever-after man she needed. Yet Jack still wants her and she finds herself wanting to submit to him again.

As Jack and Callie explore their Dominant/submissive relationship, Callie gets drawn deep into Jack’s world all over again. For his part, Jack can’t seem to forget how she nearly ruined him when she took off without even saying good-bye all those years ago, but he’s afraid his baser needs will destroy Callie.

If Callie gives Jack another chance to prove he can be what she needs, can Jack overcome his own fears and claim Callie forever?

Author Bio

Cassandra Carr is a multi-award winning romance writer. When not writing she enjoys watching hockey and hanging out online. Cassandra’s books have won numerous “Best Book Of” awards and her novella Unexpected Top was nominated in the E-book Erotic Romance category of RT’s Reviewers’ Choice Awards.

She thinks the best part of being a writer is how she writes about love and sex while most others struggle with daily commutes, micro-managing bosses and cranky co-workers. Her inspiration comes from everywhere, but she’d particularly like to thank the Buffalo Sabres, the hockey team near and dear to her heart.

I really love the books I’ve already read by this author. I will be adding this one to my own TBR stack. Thanks for the interview.
