Summary:

Fraternizing with the competition? Check.

Risking everything I’d worked so hard for? Check.

Mind-shattering orgasms? Double check.

Max Richfield made me forget myself. Forget all the reasons why I’d chosen to be alone for so long. I had goals. I needed stability. He brought chaos. I’d taken years erecting my walls. And with good reason, I would soon discover.

Now my inability to see beyond Max’s charm could cost me everything.

***Note: This is the second installment in the Indiscretion serial. Volumes 1-3 are approximately 23K-25K in length, with the final fourth installment being longer. The release schedule is as follows: Volume 2: Aug 18th, Volume 3: Sept 1st, Volume 4: Sept 15th.

The Review:

Indiscretion: Volume Two is the über steamy second installment in Elisabeth Grace’s serial romance starring Chloe Griffins and Max Richfield. In this outing, Chloe and Max’s summer fling is still scorching hot, but unexpected emotions and professional complications are beginning to intrude on their casual relationship.

Both Max and Chloe quickly realize their arrangement is becoming a little more serious than either of them expected, but their reactions are on opposite ends of the spectrum. Max is willing to keep seeing Chloe, but vague allusions to something in his past strengthen his resolve to keep their relationship casual. Chloe is more conflicted about her growing emotional attachment to Max and she reacts by pulling away from him. Max is confused by her contradictory behavior but neither of them are able to resist their fiery attraction.

Outside forces are also beginning to wreak havoc on their budding relationship. Max and Chloe’s acquaintance is closely scrutinized by business associates and a stunning connection is revealed. A couple of troubling encounters with people from Chloe’s past raises some interesting possibilities for sources of future interference in their personal lives.

Indiscretion: Volume Two has a little more angst and conflict than Indiscretion: Volume One. The characters and their backgrounds are more defined and while at first Chloe seems to be the more troubled of the two, it is becoming clear that Max is harboring a few secrets of his own. Elisabeth Grace ends the novella on a very intriguing note that will leave readers impatiently awaiting the next installment in the Indiscretion series.

Summary:

F*ck and chuck. Pump and dump. Hit it and quit it. One night stand. Didn’t matter how I branded it—that’s all she’d wanted it to be. That much was clear when she left me with my pants down and my dick still out.

What she hadn’t counted on was fate intervening and our worlds colliding—again.

The day I showed back up in the life of Chloe Griffins, I knew I had to have her again. My body was hungry for another taste. Like an addict, I’d been craving another hit for months, and there she was—flesh and bone, tits and ass.

The fact that she worked for the competition should’ve been reason enough for me to leave her alone. I had a job to do that summer and f*cking Chloe wasn’t part of it. But I was like a man possessed.

I’d do whatever it took to have her again.

***Note: This is the first instalment in the Indiscretion serial. Volumes 1-3 are approximately 23K-25K in length, with the final fourth instalment being longer. The release schedule is as follows: Volume 2: Aug 18th, Volume 3: Sept 1st, Volume 4: Sept 15th.

The Review:

Indiscretion: Volume One is the first scorching hot installment in Elisabeth Grace’s new serial romance starring Chloe Griffins and Max Richfield. It was just supposed to a one night but when the pair unexpectedly run into one another again, they agree to a summer fling.

Chloe is in her late twenties, and although she has a bit of a tragic past, she has her life together and is fully focused on her career. She is endearingly innocent but sexy and while she does not regret her encounter with Max, she does make it clear that she does not make a habit of picking up random strangers.

Max is just as surprised as Chloe when they meet again, but unlike Chloe, he is pretty eager to pick up where they left off. He, too, is hard at work on a demanding project, but he is also open to a little fun. While his past does not have the losses and tribulations that Chloe has endured, Max does feel the weight of living up to expectations of his family.

The chemistry between Max and Chloe is undeniable and these two find it virtually impossible to keep their hands off each other. Their first encounter is explosive and neither of them can forget the passion they shared. Chloe’s reticence easily gives way to Max’s considerable charms and their sex scenes are positively incendiary.

Indiscretion: Volume One is a tantalizing first glimpse of this passionate couple. It is a sweet, angst-free beginning to their romance and  Elisabeth Grace brings them and their blossoming romance vibrantly to life.   The rather precarious ending will leave readers very eager for the next installment!
