eBook Contest 1/16/13

Here are the eBooks for this week’s Winning Wednesday contest:

Title: Reaper’s Property by Joanna Wylde
Publisher: Ellora’s Cave
Genre: Contemporary, Erotic, Romance
Length: Plus Novel

Summary:

Marie doesn’t need a complication like Horse. The massive, tattooed, badass biker who shows up at her brother’s house one afternoon doesn’t agree. He wants Marie on his bike and in his bed. Now.

But Marie just left her abusive jerk of an ex-husband and she’s not looking for a new man. Especially one like Horse—she doesn’t know his real name or where he lives, she’s ninety percent certain he’s a criminal and that the “business” he talks with her brother isn’t website design. She needs him out of her life, which would be a snap if he’d just stop giving her mind-blowing orgasms.

Horse is part of the Reapers Motorcycle Club, and when he wants something, he takes it. What he wants is Marie, but she’s not interested in becoming “property of”.

Then her brother steals from the club. Marie can save him by giving Horse what he wants—at home, in public, on his bike… If she’s a very, very good girl, she’ll get lots more of those orgasms only he can offer, and he’ll let her brother live.

Maybe.

A Romantica® contemporary erotic romance from Ellora’s Cave

Title: All He Ever Dreamed by Shannon Stacey (release date 1/21/13)
The Kowalskis
Publisher: Carina Press
Genre: Contemporary, Romance

Summary:

Josh Kowalski is tired of holding down the fort–better known as the Northern Star Lodge–while his siblings are off living their dreams. Now that his oldest brother has returned to Whitford, Maine for good, Josh is free to chase some dreams of his own.

As the daughter of the lodge’s longtime housekeeper, Katie Davis grew up alongside the Kowalski kids. Though she’s always been “one of the guys”, her feelings for Josh are anything but sisterly. And after a hot late-night encounter in the kitchen, it’s clear Josh finally sees her as the woman she is.

Katie’s been waiting years for Josh to notice her, but now that he has, she’s afraid it’s too late. Giving her heart to a man who can’t wait to leave town is one sure way to have it broken. But Josh keeps coming up with excuses not to leave–could it be that everything he’s ever wanted is closer than he could have imagined?

Title: Cleats in Clay by Jackson Cordd
Publisher: Dreamspinner Press
Genre: Contemporary, Erotic, Romance, M/M
Length: 350 pages

Summary:

After twenty years with Nathan, pro baseball player Bobby Lane doesn’t know how to be single. His husband’s death hits him hard. Bobby thinks his life is over—so the cryptic postcards from his dead husband come as something of a surprise.

The postcards lead Bobby on a quest into the heart of Texas and to the doorstep of Odis Vorleik, a sculptor who hasn’t stepped foot inside his studio in nearly a year. But as Odis and Bobby grow closer, it becomes clear that Bobby didn’t know Nathan as well as he thought—and that Nathan foresaw some of Bobby’s future.

After a trip back home to sort out legal business, Bobby returns to Texas only to be confronted by Tuck Krickson, a local sheriff. Apparently Bobby isn’t the only one carrying a torch for Odis, and Odis isn’t the only one who makes Bobby feel alive again. This can’t be what Nathan intended….

I would really like Cleats in Clay, I am following the Romancing the Jock Blog and Jackson Cord was on of the authors. It sounds heart touching after losing a spouse for 20 years, then almost losing what seem your entire life. You are able to find that 2nd chance at real happiness again, which few people do.
