eBook Contest 2/27/13

Here are the eBooks for this week’s Winning Wednesday contest:

Title: Riding Rodeo by Emma Lai
Publisher: The Wild Rose Press
Genre: Contemporary, Erotic, Romance, Menage M/F/M
Length: 54 pages

Summary:

The last person Amanda Goodson expected to walk into her bakery was Sean Cassidy, the bareback bronc rider who rode her hard one night and left without a good-bye the next day. Since then, she’d sworn off one-night stands and cowboys, but one look at the man she called Rodeo leaves her hankering for another ride.

A nasty injury ended Sean’s career and left him with nothing but time to contemplate past sins, especially the most damning one…walking out on Amanda, the one woman he couldn’t forget. Eager to right the biggest mistake of his life, he finds Amanda–and learns he has competition. Never one to back down from a challenge, he offers to fulfill her darkest fantasy–taking two cowboys for a ride.

When the dust settles, will Sean’s plan to win Amanda’s trust backfire or will she risk her heart for one more shot at Riding Rodeo?

Title: Healing Trace by Debra Kayn
Lakota Ranch
Sold by: Amazon Digital Services
Genre: Contemporary, Romance
Length: 219 pages (estimated)

Summary:

Joan O’Hanlon’s life goes from hopeful to desperate in less time than it takes her car to blow up and the insurance company to inform her she’s lapsed in her payment. Focusing on her new temporary job of nursing Trace LaBatte back to health from a devastating broken leg, she’ll have to find a full time job soon if she’s going to succeed in keeping her promise to bring her little sister, Katie, back home. What she finds in her patient is not a man who suffers from a broken bone, but a shattered soul. Bound to show him how worthy he is of love, she’ll fight him every step of the way to get him to believe…even if she sacrifices her own heart in the process.

Abused and neglected while growing up on the reservation, Trace LaBatte, finds his safe spot living with his four best friends on the Lakota ranch. Living a comfortable life training horses, he gives back to his people in the only way he is capable of, while keeping a comfortable distance from everyone. That is until the determined nurse with the red hair walks into the house, plops herself down, and refuses to leave. Joan has him over thinking every emotion he’s buried long ago—ones he swore never to feed or allow to surface. It makes him feel vulnerable, edgy, and ready to run. How does someone so gentle cause him so much pain?

Warning: Tortured hero, emotionally and physically abused. At his lowest point, he must reach out to save himself, and those who have been forgotten. Tissues required.

Title: Tell Me It’s Real by TJ Klune
Publisher: Dreamspinner Press
Genre: Contemporary, M/M, Erotic, Romance
Length: 350 pages

Summary:

Do you believe in love at first sight?

Paul Auster doesn’t. Paul doesn’t believe in much at all. He’s thirty, slightly overweight, and his best features are his acerbic wit and the color commentary he provides as life passes him by. His closest friends are a two-legged dog named Wheels and a quasibipolar drag queen named Helena Handbasket. He works a dead-end job in a soul-sucking cubicle, and if his grandmother’s homophobic parrot insults him one more time, Paul is going to wring its stupid neck.

Enter Vince Taylor.

Vince is everything Paul isn’t: sexy, confident, and dumber than the proverbial box of rocks. And for some reason, Vince pursues Paul relentlessly. Vince must be messing with him, because there is no way Vince could want someone like Paul.

But when Paul hits Vince with his car—in a completely unintentional if-he-died-it’d-only-be-manslaughter kind of way—he’s forced to see Vince in a whole new light. The only thing stopping Paul from believing in Vince is himself—and that is one obstacle Paul can’t quite seem to overcome. But when tragedy strikes Vince’s family, Paul must put aside any notions he has about himself and stand next to the man who thinks he’s perfect the way he is.
