December Reading Challenge: Read a Holiday Themed Book

December seems like the perfect month to read a holiday themed book. But don’t feel like you have to pick a story that is set during Christmas or Hanukkah-be bold and select a different holiday!

Which is exactly what I decided to do with my first selection, All I Want for Halloween by Marie Harte. I think the title says it all, but I also have to add that I am a huge fan of Ms. Harte and I am eager to see whether or not Halloween is incorporated into the storyline beyond the costume party where the love interests meet.

I am going back to Australia for my other selection, The Sparky by Marek Moran. I have this novel in my TBR so when I spotted it on the Dreamspinner Press Holiday page and re-read the summary, I knew right away I had to read it this month. Although Christmas is not mentioned in the summary, I am venturing it is the holiday that will figure into the storyline.

Now, it’s your turn. Leave a comment and let us know which book you are going to read this month. We’ll check back in next month and see if you met your challenge and whether or not you enjoyed your selection!

Happy Reading!

As a non Christmas book I’m going to read All Hallow’s Eve by Annabelle Jacobs – not sure if it is set at halloween or if it is just using for the title, we’ll see!
As it is Decemeber, I will be reading Christmas stories too! One I will def read is from last year A Family for Christmas by Jay Northcote
