February Reading Challenge: Read a Book You Purchased in 2017

I always seem to have more books to read than I have time to read them, so this month’s challenge is fairly simple-read a book that you purchased in 2017.

I am HUGE fan of M.J. Arlidge’s D.I. Helen Grace series. It’s a British series so the novels are typically released first in Britain then later in the U.S. When I finished reading Hide and Seek, I was surprised to find I could purchase the British version book seven in the series, Love Me Not even though I live in the United States. Time got away from me and I forgot I had purchased it so when I ran across it on my Kindle not too long ago, voila! This month’s reading challenge was born.

The other book I am going to read for the challenge is Permanent Ink by Avon Gale and Piper Vaughn. I purchased the novel because I LOVE books featuring tattoo artists and I am a big fan of both authors. However, I keep putting off reading it because I have to confess I am not crazy about May/December romances. But the book cover keeps catching my eye, so I think it is time to put aside my misgivings about the age gap and read it!

Now, it’s your turn. Leave a comment and let us know which book you are going to read this month. We’ll check back in next month and see if you met your challenge and whether or not you enjoyed your selection!

Happy Reading!

Now this month is not short of candidates, with over 140 2017 purchases still on my tbr!
I am going to go specifically for a January one (though I am sure I’ll be reading a few 2017’s over the month). So it will be Cemeteries by Moonlight by Hunter Frost

I’m going to read Follow by Tessa Bailey
